TCIS Community Service

TCIS Community Service

At TCIS, students are encouraged to participate in community service activities and events. We offer a range of service options, including: peer tutoring, Soi/beach clean-up, tree planting in Khao Yai, teaching children at the Pattaya Orphanage, and much more. In addition to making a difference in our local community, our students become more globally-aware as a result. Many choose to get involved in related high school organizations, such as the One Club, Paper Rangers, "The Howl" student newspaper, and Model United Nations.

All high school students are required to complete 40 hours of service prior to high school graduation. We recommend that students complete 10 community service hours per school year. Using the Community Service Log Form, students and parents can keep track of the number of hours completed. The Student Services Department will then sign and stamp the form, and place it into the student's file for future reference. For instance, we can include the Community Service Log Form along with each student's college application to boost their application.

Should you have any questions regarding community service or high school graduation requirements please contact the Student Services Department for assistance.
