TCIS was founded in 1995 by members of the Taiwanese community of Bangkok for the purpose of providing an English-language education for the Taiwanese community of Bangkok along with Thai and other communities and for maintaining Taiwanese culture and heritage.

The mission of TCIS is to provide a strong educational program based on American curriculum standards and three required languages: Chinese, Thai and English.
Our goal is to develop critical thinkers, effective communicators, independent learners, collaborative workers and responsible global participants. We are a college prep and future ready school. TCIS develops students in preparation for attending the best colleges and universities around the world and ensuring they graduate with Thai, Chinese, and English language skills so they’re prepared to be 21st century global citizens.
We have approximately 660 students enrolled in PK-12

• 30% Taiwanese and Chinese
• 10% Other (Japanese, Korean, American, other)

Yes. TCIS is accredited through American, Taiwanese and Thai educational authorities. TCIS is also a member of the East Asian Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS).

All core subject classes are taught in English by fluent native speakers while Thai and Chinese (Mandarin - traditional) language classes are taught by native Thai and Taiwanese teachers.
