Ms. Lori Longman
Head of Student Services
Ms. Lori is in her 12th year of teaching. Originally from Ontario, Canada, Ms. Lori attended Wilfrid Laurier Universitywhere she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. After graduating, she was accepted to Brock University where she earn her Bachelor of Education. Ms. Lori is a Reading Specialist and is certified in English as a Second Language. Currently, she is working towards becoming a specialist in the area of Special Education. Ms. Lori taught in Ontario, Canada for 5 years before moving to Bangkok, Thailand where she has taught for the past 7 years.
Her educational philosophy is centered around inclusion. She believes that all children should have access to quality education. She hopes that every student who comes to TCIS feels a part of a community - a community that encourages students to embrace their strengths, to acknowledge their areas of need, and to reflect on themselves so that they may grow into positive and remarkable global citizens.
In her free time, Ms. Lori loves to travel, read, and spend time with her friends and family, including her two rescue cats.
