Students in grades 7, 8 & 9 have been volunteering their Friday lunches in preparation for monthly math competitions.This is the first year TCIS students have participated in the International AIDA math contests and we have have a phenomenal showing. The students have been working hard to problem solve and strategize how to attack challenging, brain-teaser-style math problems.
Our students have stepped up to the challenge and made TCIS proud. 
 
Next Saturday, February 24, 18 students are off to Pan Asia International School to participate in an international math contest. These students will be competing in teams and have an opportunity to win cash prizes if the are successful at the contest! 
 
Congratulations to everyone who has been participating in the Math Bee Contests this year and to Ms. Tiffany, Ms. Esther and Mr. Rick for supporting the development of the new program!
