Grade 8 Students embarked on an overnight field trip March 5th and 6th, 2015. For part of their trio they engaged in an environmental service project in cooperation with the Plant a Tree Today (PATT) Foundation. TCIS students learned how a tree nursery operates and were able to participate in several steps of the growing process from seed to small tree. Our students planted over 300 hundred trees on the boarder of Khao Yai National Park. The trees they planted will help reforest the area and create a barrier to protect the park. The hard work and sweat was well worth the experience!
